⚠️
Video coaching is available to some organizations. If you don't see it, it isn't turned on for your org yet.

📋 What it does
- Classroom recordings appear on a teacher's Growth Record as their own permanent entry, in date order alongside your updates.
- Once a recording has been processed, Nisa surfaces moments — timestamped points in the lesson flagged against the coaching look-fors, each one clickable to jump the player straight there.
- You work through those moments with the teacher, and turn what you find into a coaching note.

💡
Recordings from an earlier generation of this feature may also show a chapter breakdown. New recordings surface moments instead.

🪄 Working with a recording
- Open the teacher's Growth Record and click a recording that's Ready.
- The recording workspace opens: the video with a rail of moments beside it.
- Play through, or jump between moments. Star the ones worth talking about and hide the ones that aren't useful.
- Add your own moments at any timestamp — the ones you noticed that Nisa didn't.
- Write a session note as you go.
- When you're done, choose Draft coaching note. It pre-fills an update for the teacher's Growth Record, ready for you to edit and save — nothing is published automatically.
⏳ While a recording is processing
A recording moves through a few states, and you'll see where it is on the Growth Record row:
- Preparing and Uploading — the file is on its way.
