📋 The three support types

• 🎙 Coaching Pod — a short, personalized audio episode built around what the teacher is working on.
• 📖 Lesson Unpacker — a structured take on an upcoming lesson: content priorities, key moves, and challenges to watch for.
• 🎬 Lesson Rehearsal — a guided way for a teacher to rehearse teaching moves and scenarios before trying them in the classroom.

🧰 Where supports live

There are two arrangements, and which one you have depends on your organization.

Coach Tools

Open the menu under your avatar and choose Coach Tools — a canvas of the apps that work with Nisa. Click an app and it opens in a new tab, where you build the support.

A Lesson Rehearsal built this way lands on the teacher's Growth Record on its own once they've completed it. A Coaching Pod or Lesson Unpacker built in its own app isn't logged back to Nisa automatically — note it in an update if you want it on the record.

Send support

If your organization keeps supports on the teacher's record, open a teacher and choose Send support from the Growth Record. Everything is built inside Nisa and logged for you.

• Lesson Rehearsal runs as four steps:
  1. Select Lesson — upload the slides or PDF they'll rehearse.
  2. Select Focus — pick up to two focus areas (Student Engagement, Clear Directions, Student Talk), plus session tags like Checks for Understanding or Student Discussion.
  3. Give Direction — add context and a message for the teacher.
  4. Confirm Assignment — confirm the teacher, add more teachers if this applies to several, and send.
• Coaching Pod and Lesson Unpacker send you out to their own app, then bring you back: paste the session link into Nisa, review the summary, and click Log Support.
