Summary: Add teachers, keep their profiles current, and use each teacher's Growth Record.
🪄 Add a teacher
- From your hub, click Add teacher — top right of your roster. If your roster is still empty, the button sits on the "Start building your coaching roster" card instead.
- Enter the teacher's first and last name. Those are the only required fields. You can also add their school, and the subject, grade and curricula for up to five classes.
- Choose how to save:
- Add Teacher — saves their details without emailing them.
- Add & Send Invite — saves them and emails an invitation. This one needs a valid email address.

💡
You don't need an email to start. Create profiles, log updates and set goals now, then invite later when you're ready for them to receive supports and chat with Nisa. To invite someone afterwards, open their profile and use the ⋯ menu → Invite Teacher.

🔄 If your organization syncs its roster
Some organizations keep their official roster in another system and sync it with Nisa every hour. If that's you:
- Some teachers appear on your roster on their own — you don't have to add them.
- The Add Teacher form shows a Partner details section with your organization's own fields, and School becomes a picker (or a school-code box, for districts that use codes) instead of free text. Fields marked with a
* are required by your partner system.
- If something essential is missing, Nisa tells you the record can't reach the partner system yet and names what's missing.
- On a teacher card you may see "N details needed to sync." Click it to see exactly what's outstanding.
- For a synced teacher, email, school, subjects and grades are managed by the partner system and show as locked with a "Managed by Monday" note. Their name and curricula are still yours to edit — name changes flow back.
📋 The teacher profile
Each profile has three parts, top to bottom:
- What Nisa knows — Nisa's running read of where this teacher is right now
- Cycle Goals — the goals and action steps you're working on this cycle
