Summary: Keep a living record of your coaching interactions and observations on each teacher's Growth Record.

📋 What lands on a Growth Record

Everything on a teacher's Growth Record is a touchpoint. They arrive three ways:

🪄 How to log an update

  1. Open a teacher's profile and go to the Growth Record section.
  2. Click Add update.
  3. Write your note. Pick one or more update types — 1:1 Coaching, Observation, Debrief, Planning, Resource Sharing, Leader Meeting, Other. Your organization may have its own set. Adjust the date and duration if you need to.
  4. Click Continue. On the second step, connect the update to any active goals it advanced, and review Nisa's take — a short synthesis you can edit or clear.
  5. Save. It appears on the teacher's Growth Record.

Some organizations use the older logger, where this button says Log Interaction and opens a simpler form with three types: 1:1 meeting, classroom visit, or general interaction. Either way, the update lands on the Growth Record.

Need to step away mid-update? Minimize the composer and your draft is kept. Next time you open it, Nisa asks whether to restore it.

📎 Attach files

Add files to an update by clicking the attachment button, dragging them onto the composer, or pasting them straight in. Up to 6 files per update, 20MB each, 40MB total.

Where your organization has it enabled, each attachment can be marked private to you or shared with anyone who can already see the update. Two things worth knowing:
